We woke up on whatever day this is (we lost track) and checked out of our beach hut and went to the Moorea airport to board this plane to Bora Bora.

We were excited!

I know "view" pictures aren't very cool, but I really liked these ones. Bora Bora is a mainland (the tall volcano in the picture) surrounded by a string of mini islands. We are flying in right now (obviously), but if you look in the center of the picture, we are the two U shaped huts.

Again,

And again. In the two Us (on the far side of the string of hotels), we are the closer one, and then in the center. You can click on all these pictures to make them bigger to actually see what I am talking about. The ocean crashes on the outside (dark blue) and the inside is calm and many different colors, and probably not very deep - about 5 feet outside our hut. We walked to the ocean (not very far as you can tell) just to look at it, but you wouldn't swim over there.

We landed at the airport and took a ferry ride to the hotel - Intercontinental Thalasso Spa. They had us sit down and gave us fruity drinks while we checked in.

Here is Matt standing on the beach with the mainland Bora Bora in the background. This is also the view from our hut.

Here is our bed, looking out the picture window. We couldn't see any other huts, just the lagoon and the mainland volcano shown in the above pics.

This is our family room, the couch pulls out like a trundle bed, and the table is see through to the ocean and the fishies.

Here is the top deck of ours, where there was a table and chairs, and 2 lounge chairs.

And the stairs down to our lower deck with a ladder to the water. If you tell on the right side of the stairs there is a fresh water shower - nice!

The porch looking in.

In we go! Here is me and our hut, Matt took it a little farther out looking in.

It started to rain after we played in the water so we ordered some room service and ate it at our see through table and then played cards and went to bed.
