On Sunday, Matt and I put in many hours trying to make the "guts" of the wedding program on Word. When I made the outside covers I didn't really think ahead to make them a nice convenient printing size, so Matt had his work cut out. Good thing he is so patient! (With me and Word...).
So yesterday we printed the final copy from my printer and headed off to FedEx Office to print them! We brought our supplies with us there to make sure it would all work before we pushed "copy 200".
Here is our pile of originals and then (on top of the laminator) is the first stacks of massive copies.
Matt and the copy machine.
Then lucky Matt got to come home and cut! He borrowed the paper cutter from his office, and since it had to be back today, we had to cut all 450 pages we printed (each cut 3 times). Yup 1350 times he sliced that chopper.
I was putting the papers into stacks of 5 for him to cut, and then sorting them into their respective page piles after he cut them. I was also attempting to cut the ribbon, but that didn't go over too well. As you can see below, we have 9 stacks of 200 pages each.
That meant this morning I got to start sorting the stacks into...more stacks! This time I am taking one of each page and making into a program stack. The nine stacks on the bottom of the picture are the pages, the 5 on the top are the start of my "program stacks". This picture is about half way sorted.
Next comes finishing stacking, hole punching through the pages and the covers, then ribbon-ing it all together. To be continued...maybe
I REALLY need Laura back.
PS. I guess since they were in stacks of 5 he didn't slice it 1350 times...Oh well. It was a lot.

And because she has never seen turtles before... I showed her our local turtle population. They all came up for us - probably around 20!
We then continued our ride to Sonic because Laura had never been there either. We got some popcorn chicken and limeades.
And I know how much you all love kitty pictures.
