Matt and I had been talking about getting a dog for awhile now, and he wanted to wait until it got a little warmer outside. We finally found a litter at the Mile High Lab Rescue here in Denver. Unfortunetly the only girl was taken, but they did have a boy that we could adopt. So Matt and I drove up to the foster home to meet the 6 puppies and pick one out. The girl was taken, and one other boy, so we had 4 puppies to choose from (they all had homes, just were not individually picked out yet). We picked on the puppy on the left in this picture.
He was very cute (as were they all, it was kinda like eeny meeny miney moe) to pick one out. We came home and started cleaning the house "puppy proofing" and making lists of what we needed to buy at the store. Puppy comes home May 1st!
