Sunday - Minnesota

On Sunday we woke up and made an apple pie for Carol.

Then we went to an orchard.

It was freezing cold. Only Elizabeth and I brought our winter coats to Colorado, so Laura had to pass some out. This is up on the hay ride.



We got some apple donuts and hot cider. Yum.

We also went through a corn "maze" that had no wrong way, and saw some animals. Then we came back and carved 2 pumpkins.



We watched the Lions disappoint again (sigh) and the Broncos win (wow) before heading to the airport, where they did NOT show the "do or die" Twins game on tv. Andrea and I played a lot of "golf" card game on the flight back where she made up rules to benefit her...

Then I drove the "windshield whiper fluid still frozen" car back to my house and went to bed.

Saturday - To Minnesota!

On Saturday morning it was super nasty out and a miserable drive to the airport (and to top it off, the windshield whiper fluid froze in Matt's car).

Needless to say my flight was delayed.
And we had to wait in line to get de-iced.
But I got there! Laura, Andrea, Allison and Elizabeth picked me up and we went to the Mall of America (which was a question on Are you Smarter than a Fifth Grader? yesterday).

We went to the American Girl store. It was sweet, I wish I was ten again.

We also went to "Camp Snoopy".

We also rode the Ferris Wheel.

We then went home because I could hear Bootsie calling for me... She loves me.

Then we went out to dinner at Cowboy Jacks.


Then we watched some awful awful movie and went to bed, where my adopted babies slept with me all night, aww they love me.

Friday last Week

On Friday Matt and I went down to Castle Rock to get some paint and meet my parents for lunch. We got the carpets cleaned, and then we took a nap on the kitchen floor.

We then drove up to Breckenridge to celebrate Mike and Jess' engagement at the Hearthstone Restaurant, which was very tastey. Congrats to them.

The drive home (down the mountains) was pretty nasty, and we got home around 1am.

Move in Thursday!

On Thursday of last week, Matt and I got the keys to our new house!

Matt went to work and Dad and I drove up here to move some stuff in. Mostly wedding presents.

And essentials like coke and goldfish :)

Matt and I had our first dinner at our new house. I got wine and a chicken and some sides, but forgot we didn't have a can opener...so wine and chicken :)

We slept in our bedroom on an air mattress and watched tv that was so kindly left on for us.

I have Internet!!!!!

Today is Wednesday night and we have opened enough boxes to set the computer up to get internet! Woo! So tomorrow I will post all of the happenings of the past week!

NEW HOUSE!!!!!

The realtor called and said that he has the keys to our house! These pictures were taken yesterday at our walk through.

It is not that nice and sunny and warm now, it is SNOWING, but Dad and I are going to move the first load in now. How exciting!!!

Rockies Baseball

On Wednesday we went up to Denver early to watch the first half of the Tigers game on TV and then we went into Coors Field to watch the Rockies!

It was a little chilly and Matt stole my hat, but the game was fun, they won 10-6. With 3 2-run homers. They have a magic number of 1 with 4 games to go.

Most importantly the Tigers beat the Twins!!! Their magic number is 2, with a win today we can clinch!
