July 18 - Wedding Day!

July 18, 2009: Wedding Day

A lot more happened on Wedding Day than the following pictures, but this is a good re-cap for the blog. Bottom line, Matt and I got married!

In the morning, Kim, me, Andrea, Jessica and Aubrey went and got our hair done in Indian River.

The girls and my family then took pictures before the wedding, and while we waited for Matt etc to take pictures we played Old Maid, while we played some Disney music in the background.

After that, I perched myself in front of the door and watched all the guests arrive down on the lawn below.
Right before we all walked down we sang "Hakuna Matata" to keep calm.

There are so many more pictures and stories, but this is a good recap. It was a wonderful day, a little chilly, good thing I had a fool proof excuse to tuck my fingers into Matt's hands.

July 17 - Rehearsal Dinner

On Friday at noon a pig showed up at our house, as shown below. It was mighty tastey. Probably about 75 people enjoyed the pig and other sides for lunch.

Then we had the wedding rehearsal, well tried to, it started to pour rain, so we had the back up rain plan of in the barn. Then it cleared up a little so we had another rehearsal on the lawn.

At 6ish the rehearsal dinner people drove to Bay View and had a rehearsal dinner at the Terrace Inn. Here are the girls and Tarah.

SuperJet

Today Laura took some pictures of me using the Super Jet. I am decent at getting up, and pretty good at going straight. Turning is a challenge.

I fell here. WEEDS ahhhh!!! The superjet goes pretty far when you fall, so good thing I can swim!

It is a lot of fun though, better come up and try it out!

Kilwins Boxes

Today we stopped by Kilwins to get some chocolate to eat, and we were looking at the sample wedding boxes. And what do you know, my box is the sample!

Magic and the Cat Nip Bush

Drost for some reason planted a cat nip plant on the hot tub patio. It didn't take long for Magic to discover this.

More Up North Pics

Laura bought a black swim coverup and Andrea and I liked it, so we got our own!

We spent some time in the hot tub too.

GFS and Inn Between

This morning Mom and I took 2 of our 100 lists to Gaylord and went to Gordon Foods. We bought some stuff for the Friday pig roast, Saturday, and Sunday Brunch. If you think this is a lot, try looking at the other 98 lists...

It was a nice day out so we took the boat down the river to the Inn Between.
